Swim History

What started in 2020 with nine SSG swimmers going for a long swim, 2025 will be the 6th consecutive year. It has been called the Australia Day Swim, the Pavilion Swim and most recently the Moreton Bay Swim.

Over those years SSG Multisports has invited its members, SSG social media followers, local sports clubs and the public.

In 2025, we invite YOU to be part of this great event's history.

Formal sponsorship saw the rebranding of the swim to 'The Pavilion Swim'.

Three timed distances (4.5km, 2km & 1km).  All swim courses were made up of a 500m loop in front of Suttons Beach. A family friendly 'inflatable race' was offered for the first time, much to the delight of the young and old.

Back to basics, SSG Multisports held a members only event.

We swam the 4.5km Scotts Point return and the 2km Glasshouse routes.

Moreton Bay Swim 2025 is sure to be the best event yet.
We're including all previous distances and the family friendly inflatable race.

Someone in the 2025 event will also be the 1,000 participant - it could be you !!

Be part of the Moreton Bay Swim history.

SSG Multisports is proud to host the 6th year of this swim at our beautiful Suttons Beach in Redcliffe.
